Xbox 360 owners looking to get in on the free-to-play scene have a fresh new option today. A new action RPG called Ascend: Hand of Kul is now available for free download from Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade. The game was developed by Signal Studios and is published by Microsoft.
In Ascend: Hand of Kul, players slash their way through the world as Caos, a gigantic breed of mighty warriors created to serve the will of the gods. As Caos — no, not the dude from Skylanders — gamers fight against the immortal Titans while fending off attacks from rival players in the global Ascend conflict.
The world of Ascend: Hand of Kul changes dynamically beneath players’ feet. As you journey through Ascend, you will encounter the spirits of other players guiding their Caos warriors through battle in parallel worlds. Directly impact their worlds with Crusade Spells, and keep in mind that they can also impact yours.
The largest rewards require the ultimate sacrifice – your character! But with each life sacrificed, your character gains new abilities that help forge the ultimate Caos warrior.
