Bulletstorm Blood Symphony DLC Heads to Xbox Live

June 13, 2011 by Sara Leave a Comment

EA LogoThe Bulletstorm Blood Symphony Pack is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace and PC, with a PlayStation 3 version coming to PSN at a TBD time down the line. The Bulletstorm Blood Symphony DLC costs 800 Microsoft Points, or $9.99 on PC. The highlight of the Bulletstorm Blood Symphony Pack is a new Ultimate Echoes mode, which is a skill-based challenge that builds upon the game’s original Echo Mode and requires players to complete specific goals in order to rack up even higher bonus points.

Also included in the new Bulletstorm DLC are three new maps for the game’s Anarchy multiplayer mode, including the confines of the Mini City, the wrecked remains of the Ulysses, and the Rock Quarry. There are also two new Echo Mode maps featuring the Monorail Factory and Mean Street. Rounding out the DLC pack are new Flamingo and Pulp leash variants.

You can read our full Bulletstorm review here, or for a quick synopsis of the game, there’s this quick little ditty from EA: Bulletstorm tells the story of Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato, ex-members of an elite military force called Dead Echo, now mercenaries on the run across the galaxy. Stranded on Stygia, a paradise lost that has been overrun by rampaging freaks, flesh-eating plants and creatures the size of skyscrapers, their main objective is to survive long enough to exact revenge on the one person responsible for their plight.
