Say what you will about the original Kinect Sports being a Wii Sports knockoff, the game was still a hit with Xbox Kinect owners. Now its sequel, Kinect Sports: Season Two, has headed to retail in the hope of turning your living room once again into a world-class sports arena. In Kinect Sports: Season Two, Xbox 360 owners can play six of the biggest sports from around the world, including baseball, American-style football, golf, tennis and darts, using full body motion and select voice controls.
All told, the game includes Football, Baseball, Skiing, Golf, Tennis and Darts, plus 17 new Challenge Play Activities that let players issue challenges to their friends (and rivals) via Xbox Live or in their own living rooms. An in-game calorie counter also helps players track their fitness progress.
Starting in November and every month thereafter through Spring 2012, new DLC add-ons will be made available including new challenges, activities, courses and an all new sport. The latter will be available in Spring 2012.
We will have a full review of Kinect Sports: Season Two in the week ahead.
