Episodes one and two of Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn) are now available on Zune, including the Zune Channel on 360, the Anime Channel announced today. The anime action is viewable on an On-Demand basis on the Zune platform in full 1080p HD with 5.1 audio as well as two-channel audio.
Upon its release in March 2010, the first episode became a major hit, with over 200,000 units sold on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan to date and the ongoing growth of its success around the world. Following the October 30th theatrical release of episode two in Japan, its popularity has continued to rise rapidly with episode two’s trailers being viewed by millions around the world.
For what it’s worth, November 12 also marked the release of “Gundam UC” episode two on Blu-ray discs in the US, Canada and Taiwan.
