Naruto: The Broken Bond to be Xbox 360 Exclusive

July 24, 2008 by Sara Leave a Comment

Ubisoft today announced it’s working on an Xbox 360-exclusive entry in the Naruto series, which it plans to ship this holiday season. Called Naruto: The Broken Bond, the game will be a true sequel to Naruto: Rise of a Ninja.

The game, based on the popular Naruto animated series, will feature the main character Naruto, who has now evolved into a well-respected Ninja. However, Naruto’s new status and abilities trigger the envy of his best friend, Sasuke, who ends up manipulated by the village’s enemy, Orochimaru, and coerced to “the dark side.” Naruto: The Broken Bond will thus follow Naruto and his Ninja friends as they try to save Sasuke.

In addition to this single-player story, Naruto: The Broken Bond will include an online multiplayer mode that lets players to compete against others in online tournaments.
