The Xbox 360 exclusive Ninja Blade game, developed by From Software, has gone gold and will ship in North America on April 7, Microsoft has announced. In Ninja Blade, Ken Ogawa and his team of modern-day fighters battle a terrifying disease that transforms the citizens of Tokyo into an infected monster horde.
Armed with an extensive arsenal of ninja weapons and abilities, including Ninja Vision and Todome Attack, players will confront grueling challenges in their mission to save humanity. The bigger challenge, though: remembering that the game even existed.
Presuming you didn’t recall its name, Microsoft will upload a Ninja Blade demo on Xbox Live Marketplace on March 9 (next Monday). The free demo will give players a chance to battle the monster horde before the game hits store shelves in April.
If you like the demo, you can pre-order the game at retail and receive a token for an exclusive Ninja Blade Premium Theme Pack on Xbox Live. The Premium Theme Pack will include five avatar backgrounds including Ninja Blade weapons, Japanese Gardens and Tokyo skyscrapers. The pack will also contain four NXE-compatible wallpapers featuring the Tokyo skyline and various Ninja Blade characters.
