While Xbox 360 owners eagerly wait for Ninja Gaiden 2 and Sid Meier’s Revolution, Microsoft is taking a step to help ease their patience. On February 11, Ninja Gaiden Black, Sid Meier’s Pirates! and BLACK will be made available on Xbox Live Marketplace.
Part of the “Xbox Originals” program, these three games will all be available for download to your Xbox 360 hard drive. All three games will carry a price of 1200 Microsoft Points.
For those not familiar with the games, here’s a quick rundown. Ninja Gaiden Black includes the full original Xbox version of Ninja Gaiden, plus the Hurricane Pack content and new difficulty levels including Ninja Dog and Very Difficult Master Ninja. Sid Meier’s Pirates!, on the other hand, is a strategic game in which players build a fleet, take to the tropical seas and pursue a life of naval battles and piracy. And BLACK, a third-person shooter from Criterion and EA, is best described as “gun porn,” with destructible environments and so much ammunition that you’ll seriously debate whether you should let up on the trigger.
