Unreal Tournament 3 will ship for Xbox 360 this summer, Midway officially announced today. The first-person shooter, formerly a PlayStation 3 and PC exclusive, will hit the Xbox 360 with two new characters, five new expansive maps and split screen capability.
All of these new features will be exclusive to Xbox 360 and not available on PS3 or PC.
Like Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3 uses Unreal Engine 3 to take graphics to a next-gen level. Several DailyGamers have commented that the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 is the best-looking console game they’ve ever seen, in fact.
Players can engage in battles with other human players online, or against AI-controlled bots.
