If you downloaded the Xbox Live Arcade Game Scourge: Outbreak, you’ll be pleased to hear that Tragnarion Studios has just released its first major update patch based on feedback directly from the Scourge: Outbreak community. The game’s developer also confirmed that the first Scourge: Outbreak DLC map pack will be released soon.
The game update to the Xbox Live Arcade Game Scourge: Outbreak includes:
- Matchmaking now allows players to find and join games in progress, making it much easier to find matches online
- All weapon handling has been tweaked, fixing issues with recoil, stability and spread
- Co-op mode is now enabled in Trial version
- One PvP map is now available in Trial version
- Several bug fixes
In addition to these updates, Tragnarion announced the first batch of Scourge: Outbreak DLC is now available, and that a map pack will be available soon. The first DLC doesn’t impact the game proper, but it’s related to the game in general. The first element is a Premium Xbox 360 Dashboard Theme Pack that includes backgrounds and environmental objects based on various locations in Scourge: Outbreak. The second DLC element is a Gamer Pic Pack that’s 10 icons deep and features Echo Squad, Alpha Squad and several Nogari Soldiers.
Unfortunately, the developer didn’t say exactly when the DLC map pack would be released for the Xbox Live Arcade Game Scourge: Outbreak. But, knowing that it’s actively in development and “coming soon” should be enough to keep fans going. If you haven’t downloaded the game yet, Scourge: Outbreak is now available on Xbox Live for $9.99.
