March 5, 2007 by Sara

When Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was announced for Xbox Live Arcade, it was also revealed that the size limit for Xbox Live Arcade games would increase. Today at GDC, that new limit was announced: 150MB. The previous size limit had been 50MB.
Microsoft also announced today that it will be shipping on April 3 a new size of memory unit: 512MB. The 512MB memory stick, which will retail for $49.99, will come pre-loaded with Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. The 64MB unit will drop in price to $29.99.
The 512MB Memory Unit also gives Xbox 360 owners the ability to download exclusive content from any of the 45,000 Xbox 360 kiosks at retail outlets worldwide.
