Gamers are always excited for the future, which is why a new generation of console hardware gets us hot and bothered. But at E3 2013, looking at the near future wasn’t good enough, as gamers whizzed past the then-forthcoming launch of the new Xbox One to look at an EA game not slated to hit until 2015. That game, Titanfall, earned the highest-profile E3 awards and will be surely one of the biggest, prettiest and most popular Xbox One games of 2015.
Just for good measure, though, EA has released a new trailer that shows the Titanfall Ogre Titan. As if the prospect of battling in and out of ‘Mechs weren’t enough to get people excited, the different Titan classes will introduce a welcome level of strategy to the online shooter.
Watching the new Titanfall Ogre Titan trailer, you’ll see that the Ogre is engineered to be the ultimate battle tank. Capable of taking massive damage at the expense of agility, the Ogre places a premium on its armor and offensive capabilities. When your mission demands maximum survivability, the Ogre is the only battle platform which consistently out-performs, out-shines, out-lasts and outlives everything else on the battlefield.
You can check out the trailer below, and make sure you pre-order Titanfall (perhaps even the awesome-looking Titanfall Collector’s Edition) so you can get in on the multiplayer action on launch day. Titanfall will ship March 11, 2014, in North America and on March 13, 2014, in Europe
