With the PlayStation 4 already in stores and in gamers’ hands, and with the Xbox One set to hit retail in just three days, Ubisoft has shipped Just Dance 2014 for both the PS4 and Xbox One systems. Just Dance 2014 uses the Kinect on Xbox One and PlayStation Camera on PS4 to capture gamers’ real-world dance moves and translate them to the screen.
For those in non-American territories, Just Dance 2014 will be available in Europe, New Zealand and Australia on Nov. 22, and it will launch for PS4 in EMEA on Nov. 29. The game launched on PlayStation 4 in the United States on Nov. 15, the same day as the PS4 console itself.
Next-gen consoles offer unique gameplay experiences for Just Dance fans. Players on Xbox One can use Xbox SmartGlass to navigate through the game’s menu and select songs from their smartphone or tablet. In addition, Just Dance 2014 is playable with up to six people at the same time with the power of Xbox One. Gotta love that super-sensitive Kinect 2.0 technology.
Just Dance 2014 features more than 45 tracks, including “Applause” by Lady Gaga, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke ft. T.I. and Pharrell, “Kiss You” by One Direction, “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams and “Starships” by Nicki Minaj. “Roar” by Katy Perry is also available as a free DLC at launch.
