New Valve Statment Regarding Steam Intrusion: Credit Card Info Got Out, Likely Safe

Valve's Gabe Newell today issued a new statement to update Steam users about the company's ongoing investigation and actions related to the Steam hack/intrusion late last year. The gist of the note, which you can read in its entirety below, is that Valve's still looking into things but is proactively letting its users know that encrypted credit card info may have gotten into the hands of the intruders. There are a few parallels between Kinect Star Wars and Episode I: The Phantom Menace, which opens today in 3D. The most obvious is the connection to Episode I content and characters, which so far have driven all of the Kinect Star Wars game demos. David Beckham's Super Bowl ad caused a bit of a stir, bringing football/soccer right up to the top of folks' awareness at a time it might otherwise not be. EA has another reason to get you thinking about soccer, though, releasing today an all-new video for FIFA Street in which the developers discuss the various game modes. The next Content Drop in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Content Season for Call of Duty Elite is headed to Xbox 360 on Feb. 21. Pearl Jam DLC Now Available for Rocksmith

Ubisoft announced today that the latest round of Rocksmith DLC, which features songs from Pearl Jam, is now available for download via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The songs included in the Rocksmith Pearl Jam DLC pack are “Black” and “Jeremy.” Each song will be available for individual purchase for $2.99 each on the Playstation Network and 240 Microsoft points each on Xbox Live.
