First Details: Borderlands 2 Limited Edition, Collector’s Edition

2K Games and Gearbox Software today announced two tiers of special limited editions for Borderlands 2: a "Deluxe Vault" Hunter's Collector's Edition and an "Ultimate Loot Chest" Limited Edition. Both versions will be available when Borderlands 2 ships on Sept. 18. Borderlands 2 is the sequel to the four-player cooperative shooter-looter that combined first-person mayhem with role-playing gameplay. BioShock Infinite Delayed Until 2013, Won’t Be Shown at E3

Well this news will ruin your day: BioShock Infinite has been delayed more than four months, and Irrational Games and 2K Games won't be showing it at E3 or Gamescom this year. This info came straight from the mouth of Ken Levine, who acknowledged that the delay until 2013 is bound to upset its eager fans -- us included. Prototype 2 DLC #1 Hits Today, DLC #2 Details Revealed

Prototype fans, prepare to explore more of the NYZ, as Activision today released the first batch of Prototype 2 DLC and shed light on the second round of DLC headed gamers' way on May 29. The first DLC pack, called Colossal Mayhem, is available today and includes a new weapon, new powers and three new custom skins. Spec Ops: The Line Demo Blasts onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3

A free demo of the third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line is now available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The Xbox 360 version of the demo is only available for Xbox Live Gold members today but will be available for all Xbox Live on May 15. The full version of Spec Ops: The Line will ship on June 29 for all platforms (Xbox 360, PS3 and PC). Call of Duty: Black Ops II to Release Nov. 13, Take Place in Near Future

The Call of Duty franchise is taking a page from the Tom Clancy universe, as Call of Duty: Black Ops II will take gamers into the near future (the year 2025) when it releases for Xbox 360, PS3 and other systems on Nov. 13 this year. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Goes Gold

Ubisoft today announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has "gone gold" for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and will be released for those platforms on May 22 in North America. Its Windows PC release will come June 12. God of War: Ascension Unveiled for PS3; No Release Date Yet
