Resource to Buy Electronics on the Cheap Offers Freebies, Too

February 2, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

Deal sites are abound on the Web, along with all those email services with half-off deals if you agree to their incessant emails with randomly useful bargains. Normally we don’t talk about these sorts of things, but one surfaced this week that’s been around for a while but just came to our attention. Why? Because they were offering free stuff.

Deals2Buy this week was offering the chance to win a free big-screen TV (valued at $1099.99) to anyone who submitted a deal to their website. Basically, the company was buying traffic and SEO potential, but the benefit to end users was still pretty slick. The promo is over now, but motives aside, it exposed a pretty comprehensive deal site.

My wife looks at sites like CouponMom and others, but none of those really pander to me. A site with electronics deals, on the other hand, is all over my radar. And now that Deasl2Buy has their new “Deal Breaker Report,” which identifies the hottest deals it has for a variety of products each month, I’ve got a new resource to justify fulfilling my gadget-buying urges.

For instance, some of the deals they highlighted during the past week included select HDTVs being up to 25% off (and having free shipping) at Best Buy, $500 off a 46″ Sony LED 1080p 3DTV with Internet connectivity, and 30% off a flat-panel TV mount that fits 34″ to 60″ TVs. No, they’re not everyday purchases, but they’re the types of things I may consider from time to time and just need a quick-reference guide for the best deals on those items.

Anyway, next time you’re in the market for electronics (or anything else, since the site covers various items), make sure to swing by Deals2Buy before you open your wallet. If you do, you may not end up opening it quite as wide.
