The Ultimate Fighting Championship made its first trip to Minnesota on August 9, 2008, and all the UFC stars came out to blow the lids off anything Minnesotan UFC fans had ever seen. The result, UFC 87: Seek and Destroy, featured 10 bouts fights highlighted by George St-Pierre vs. Jon Fitch in a title bout. One of the most anticipated fights in the history of UFC’s lightweight division, Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian versus Roger “El Matador” Huerta, was also on the card.
Yet of the 10 bouts, only six were shown on pay-per-view, leaving those who didn’t personally attend the UFC event completely out in the Minnesotan cold. Until now. The UFC 87: Seek and Destroy Two-Disc Edition DVD marks the first time home viewers will be able to see the complete 10-bout card, including the preliminary fights not seen on the pay-per-view broadcast. The DVD also includes never-before seen featurettes and behind-the-scenes footage. And we’re giving away one of these DVDs to one lucky UFC fan.
