The deal? Consumers who buy any Toshiba HD-DVD player and Star Trek: The Original Series Season One on HD-DVD can receive a free limited edition Star Trek Phaser universal remote by mail. With an approximate retail value of $69.95, the three-in-one Universal Phaser remote has been preprogrammed to work with any Toshiba HD-DVD player and features special sound and light effects from the series.
The offer expires on February 29, 2008, or while supplies last.
This boxed 10-disc set offers Star Trek fans the opportunity to now experience the series like never before in high definition. Meticulously remastered from the original camera negative, each classic episode is presented with new state-of-the-art digital visual effects and a new 5.1 soundtrack.
