Vizio will unveil more than two dozen new flat-panel HDTVs during CES 2008, inclluding a 50-inch plasma HDTV that displays in full 1080p — and carries a meager $1,499 price tag. This 50-inch full 1080p Plasma TV will have a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, an extended life up to 100,000 hours and four HDMI inputs.
All told, Vizio will unveil 26 new flat-panel HDTVs during CES 2008. The others include:
- The Vizio JIVE JV47L LCD 1080p HDTV, which incorporates front speakers within the TV’s cabinet plus a pair of rear channel speakers and wireless subwoofer
- The Black Tie series with an ultra-slim bezel that provides more picture area in a smaller enclosure
- The Evolution Series, which includes the HDTV features and functionality you’d expect but with a reduced price
- A new 60-inch full 1080p DLP Slim HDTV with 1Trillion colors
- A new HybrVid Series that offers 19-inch, 22-inch and 26-inch 1080p HDTVs with HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs for serious gamers
