Of all the reasons to be excited for Ubisoft’s next-gen-exclusive Assassin’s Creed game, the Assassin’s Creed Unity co-op aspects are near the top of the list. Co-op is nothing new to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but its flavor is a bit different with Unity.
Set in a once-magnificent Paris, Assassin’s Creed Unity plunges into the terror of the 1789 French Revolution and features the most dense city ever created for an Assassin’s Creed game.
Through the streets of Paris, the starving inhabitants are set to take up arms for freedom and equality. In this time of chaos and brutality, a young man named Arno, wounded by the loss of those he loved, sets out on a deadly path of redemption.
Arno’s pursuit throws him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation and transforms him into a true Master Assassin.
As tough as Arno may be, the dude doesn’t always succeed by his lonesome. That’s where the co-op elements come in.
Rather than write about them exclusively, we decided it was best to let you watch some of the co-op action for yourself. So, here’s a five-minute cut of Assassin’s Creed co-op gameplay footage.
Narrated by Creative Director Alex Amancio, the demo footage follows an assassination mission from start to finish. It also shows the reimagined parkour system and enhanced stealth elements.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Assassin’s Creed Unity co-op gameplay for yourself in just two months. The Assassin’s Creed Unity release date is Nov. 11 for Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC. Assassin’s Creed Unity pre-orders are still available at Amazon.
