Songs from The Beatles are now available on iTunes. It’s been a long time coming, for sure, but once The Beatles remastered collection released last year, we all knew it was just a matter of time before The Beatles had their 13 studio albums released on iTunes. Well, that time is today.
“We’re really excited to bring the Beatles’ music to iTunes,” Sir Paul McCartney said via news release. “It’s fantastic to see the songs we originally released on vinyl receive as much love in the digital world as they did the first time around.”
Effective immediately, all 13 remastered Beatles albums are available from the iTunes Store, as promoted ad nauseum on the iTunes Store main page. But can you blame Apple for promoting this day? The Beatles and AC/DC are two of the most demanded acts that hadn’t yet made their iTunes appearance. Now, one of those two is finally here.
Beatles fans can purchase individual songs, or a digital box set featuring live concert film, which according to Apple is an iTunes exclusive. Single albums are available for download for $12.99, double albums for $19.99 and individual songs for $1.29.
