Car games are amazing because they help release stress and relax (even if you’re not a driver in real-life). You don’t need explosions, crazy adventures, or lute to get you into a good mood. It’s enough to ace that tight corner or get first to the finish line!
Moreover, if you play a multiplayer online mobile game, you get to enjoy it whenever, wherever, and with whoever you want! So, we did a bit of research and found the best car games (both mobile and for consoles) to play when you have a few free moments.
Project Cars 2
This is one of the most ambitious driving simulations on the market right now, and it is available for PC, PlayStation, PS4, and Xbox One. The graphic details are amazing, the action is smooth and creamy, and the driving experience is mind-blowing!
Furthermore, you get to choose between some amazing cars, and the racetracks are quite challenging. Now, Project Cars 2 is not free, but it features single-player, multiplayer, and online multiplayer modes. As a result, you get to enjoy some impressive cars and share the experience with friends and players all over the world.
Moto X3M 6: Spooky Land
If you’re not ready to spend your hard-earned money on a car game, or you don’t want something as complex as Project Cars, we recommend Moto X3M 6: Spooky Land. It is fun, lightweight, free, and easy to access from your phone or tablet.
As the name says, your character gets to drive a motorcycle through a spooky land. This is the Halloween edition of the X3M series and it is as challenging as it is fun. But don’t expect it to be easy! As you advance through levels, you’ll get more interesting obstacles and will have to jump over some interesting platforms.
In our opinion, this is the perfect driving game to play when you’re trapped in a bus after a long day of school or work.
Forza Horizon 3
We’re back at games that can (and should) be played on a PC. Forza Horizon 3 comes with some interesting off-road tracks and vehicles. So, if you like adventure and want to see how a car can transform into a speedboat, you may want to try it on!
The tracks are set in the gorgeous Australian wilds, and you can steer off the tracks and run free, admiring the landscapes. We love it because it has a bit of everything! From the NFS arcade-style to the neat and organized regular racing, this game has all the elements that make driving in a virtual world so much fun!
Asphalt 9: Legends
Available for Android devices, this is the game you want if you like high-octane vehicles and crazy rides. You can become a professional race driver by working your way through the levels of career mode, but you also get to play against other players in the online mode.
Regardless, players have the wonderful opportunity of driving gorgeous vehicles that respond instantly to commands and run like the wind. Furthermore, the controls are easy to master, and you can choose between tilting the screen or TouchDrive mode, where the game controls acceleration and steering.
Overall, Asphalt 9 is an adrenaline-filled car game you must have on your phone or tablet! In our opinion, it’s games like these that make us buy the latest mobile devices, so we’d have enough power to play them!
Dirt Rally 2
Dirt Rally is a classic on the list of car games and this second installment doesn’t disappoint! You get to enjoy the true rally experience with a co-driver that will shout instructions, coordinates, and directions at you. Oh, you must be quick about implementing them if you don’t want to get out of the road and into the abyss!
This is a hardcore racing game, so we don’t recommend it for the faint of heart. It is going to make you fail (many, many times), but it is satisfying and incredibly fun!
As you can see, everyone has a choice when it comes to racing games. You get to choose games designed for a wide array of devices (PC, console, mobile) and moods.
