Gears of War 2 has gone gold for Xbox 360 today, Microsoft has announced, putting the most-anticipated Xbox 360 shooter of 2008 on track to ship to retail on Nov. 7.
Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski called Gears of War 2 “Epic’s best work yet” when announcing that the game has gone gold.
Gears of War 2 tells the story of humanity’s last stand against the nightmarish, underground Locust Horde. Of course, “last stand” could be figurative; if the game does well, you know darn well Epic will make a Gears of War 3.
