The Philadelphia Eagles were the NFL’s media darling for the first few weeks of the season. Pryor has emerged as the most important player on the Raiders’ roster, and although his passing game still needs work, he’s a dual-threat QB with a wily approach that gives defenses headaches. Because of that, he should have a heyday today at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have the NFL’s 31st-rated defense through eight games.
The quarterback carousel will likely continue for Philadelphia today, as Matt Barkley will likely get the nod to start. Barkley entered last Sunday’s game against the New York Giants late in the second quarter after Vick aggravated his hamstring injury (the consequence of coming back too soon).
