In “I Love You Phillip Morris,” Jim Carrey stars as a small-town businessman who became one of the most wanted me in Texas for his brilliant con schemes and prison escapes. And to think he did it all for love — the love of a man named Phillip Morris (played by Ewan McGregor). During the course of the dark comedy, which is based on a true story, Carrey’s character goes from small-potatoes businessman to a flamboyant white-collar criminal who repeatedly finds himself in trouble with the law and on the lam, brilliantly escaping from the Texas prison system on four separate occasions.
In addition to the film itself, the DVD we’re giving away here also includes audio commentary with producer Andrew Lazar and writers/directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, a “Making of” featurette, deleted scenes and the theatrical trailers.
