The Barber Shop may get most of the glory when it comes to mainstream exposure, but those who are “in the know” will tell you the real juicy gossip comes from the ladies in the hair salon, not the guys in the barber chair. In Nora’s Hair Salon 2, which will soon release on DVD from Fox Home Entertainment, that formula gets turned on its business-like ear, as the drama comes not necessarily from what’s going on in the salon, but behind its office doors. A full movie description is below for this upcoming DVD, which we’re giving away free to three lucky winners.
To win one of these three DVDs, simply complete and submit the entry form below through the deadline of 11:59pm PST on June 12, 2008. This daily entry contest is open worldwide to anyone 18 years old or older. Winners will be chosen at random and notified via e-mail, so make sure you leave us a valid email address. And remember: your odds of winning are greatly increased by returning each day to enter again, and by entering multiple times using multiple email addresses. Good luck!
Synopsis: After inheriting an urban hair salon from her Aunt Nora, Simone knows she has a big chair to fill. The salon has always been the heart and soul of the neighborhood, and she wants to keep it that way, but in less time than it takes a perm to set, Simone realizes that another stylist, Lilliana, has her own plans for the salon. Stacey Dash (View from the Top), Tatyana Ali (The Brothers), Jean-Claude La Marre (Color of the Cross), Lucille Soong (“Desperate Housewives”) and R&B singer-songwriter Bobby Brown are back in style for this second treatment, joined by Malik Barnhardt (Black Woman’s Guide to Finding a Good Man) and Mekhi Phifer (“ER”).
