For the amount of time it took to hand-animate a movie (not taking anything away from Pixar and the CGI folks, of course), it sure seemed like Disney movies flew out of the Disney Studios with amazing regularity. The first batch of Disney movies involved animals, then moved to people, then back to animals before settling on their seemingly now-standard animals-as-people formula. Yet one of Disney’s first anthropomorphic films, The Aristocats, seldom gets credit for being such a trail blazer. But that’s just what it is, and in its honor, we’re giving away three copies of The Aristocats Special Edition DVD.
