It’s hard to refute the popularity of MMA (mixed martial arts) in America, particularly in the 18-24 male demographic. In fact, the “sport” has moved into a variety of new arenas, including TV shows such as The Ultimate Fighter. After 13 weeks of competition as opposing coaches for “The Ultimate Fighter,” Forrest Griffin faced light heavyweight UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. The high-impact card also included the middleweight title elimination bout between Patrick “The Predator” Cote and Ricardo “Big Dog” Almeida, among others.
