Amazon Discounts Firefly on Blu-ray by 30 Percent

Firefly was one of the best shows on TV when it aired, but much like the Wild West it seemed to re-create in outer space, the show was over as quickly as it started. That’s also one way to describe the sale Amazon.com is running on Firefly – The Complete Series on Blu-ray Disc, which amounts to 30 percent off.

Like its DVD box set, Firefly on Blu-ray will include all the episodes from the original series, and we’re hoping it’ll include a few extra bonus features as well. After all, with the additional space allowed by the Blu-ray Disc format, there should be plenty of room to include commentary tracks and making-of featurettes, maybe even teasers of Serenity, the movie based on the Firefly series.
