Consumers who purchase a new high-end flat-panel HDTV or a complete home theater system often have one regret: the mess left behind from all the A/V wires and cables. Console owners have a double whammy, as they have both Blu-ray and HD-DVD players and Xbox 360, Wii or PlayStation 3 cables to content with as well. Today, Atdec unveiled a new cable manager and shelf system to do away with some of that clutter.
Atdec’s Telehook Cable Manager and Shelf System provides a simple way to conceal errant A/V cables and support A/V and gaming equipment. The cable-management channel is a 4-foot-long sleek aluminum casing capable of housing up to 10 power and A/V cables and can be mounted to dry wall in any position. The Cable Manager Shelves, meanwhil, support any type of A/V equipment. The Cable Manager channel (MSRP $120) and the shelves (MSRP $170, two shelves per pack) can be purchased separately.
Atdec’s Telehook Cable Manager and Shelf System have a slim line profile that’s just one inch from the wall and allows additional A/V equipment and cables to be added or removed easily. The Telehook Cable Manager and Shelf system can be mounted to a wall without the need to locate in-wall studs. In addition, independent cable bays allow a flat panel HDTV’s power and data cables to be installed separately, reducing the chance of electromagnetic interference.
The Telehook Cable Manager shelves feature a large support area that safely accommodates even the largest Hi-Fi equipment (12-3/4″ x 13″ support area for each shelf). Built from sturdy extruded aluminum, the shelves support up to 26.5 lbs. per shelf, can be easily added and removed and can slide up and down for optimum height adjustment. The system supports up to four shelves per unit.
Adtec’s flat-panel TV mounts are designed to fit perfectly with Atdec’s new Telehook Cable Manager and Shelf system.
