BioShock Infinite has been on our radar since our first live demo of the game two years ago at E3. The game’s come a long way since that time, which is really saying something, considering the scenario we saw unfold above the skies seemed ready for retail to us. Today, Irrational Games and 2K Games released a new BioShock Infinite trailer called “False Shepherd,” which showcases two minutes of gameplay.
Yes, it looks that good.
BioShock Infinite puts players in the shoes of a U.S. Cavalry veteran turned “hired gun” named Booker DeWitt. Indebted to the wrong people and with his life on the line, DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. The followers of the Prophet Father Comstock will stop at nothing to keep Booker from his Quarry. But with an arsenal of weapons and the incredible powers granted by Vigors, Booker deals death from above on the Sky-Lines of Columbia. And the girl he’s there to rescue might turn out to be the partner he needs to survive.
