A new shooter shipped today for the Nintendo DS, as Nanostray 2 headed to retail from the Majesco mothership.
Nanostray 2 is a top-down sci-fi shooter in the vein of old-school arcade games. Nanostray 2 features six game modes, including two-player co-op, two-player versus, Challenge (with 30+ different missions) and an all-new Simulator mode in which players aim for the highest score in four different mini-games.
With both horizontal and vertical viewpoints, Nanostray 2 also includes multiple control schemes and configurable weapons. These customizable weapons are a necessity when going up against the game’s 16 bosses and 100 unique enemies.
In addition to the gameplay modes above, players with an extra-competitive spirit can upload their scores via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to see how they rank against the best on the Nanostray 2 Web site.
