Ultimate Duck Hunting for the Nintendo Wii has shipped to retail today, but this version isn’t the same cartoony, mocking-dog title you remember from Duck Hunt on the NES. Nope, Ultimate Duck Hunting is a realistic hunting simulation that features four modes of play, including a Career Mode and split-screen two-player mode.
Because this is a simulation (and not a Nintendo title), players hunt and retrieve ducks just as they would in real life, only much more safely (read: no bullets). All told, players can do their duck hunting in six environments, including:
- Stuttgart, Arkanasas
- Oacoma, South Dakota
- Oak Island, Minnesota
- Harobor, Alaska
- Coldwater, Mississippi
- Halifax, Virginia
Ultimate Duck Hunting will be available in retail stores and from online retailers during the first week of December (this week).
