Midway today unveiled NBA Ballers: Chosen One, the next installment in its basketball/lifestyle NBA Ballers franchise. The fast-paced one-on-one and two-on-two action will return in SPring 2008 as players select from more than 65 NBA superstars to be the next “Chosen One.”
NBA Ballers: Chosen One is scheduled to ship next spring for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Midway shared a few details about its vision for the game, but nothing particularly specific. Among the pieces of information the company shared were:
- NBA Ballers will feature new competitive combo and super-move systems
- NBA Ballers will have an optimized next-gen graphics engine and feature “the most true-to-life athlete likenesses seen in a sports video game”
- The franchise’s hallmark pick-up-and-play gameplay will allow Ballers of all skill levels to master combos and pull off amazing super moves
- Players will hoop-it-up with and as the best players in the NBA
