A special batch of downloadable content for Rock Band on PS3 and Xbox 360 is headed to the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace, respectively, this time featuring a dozen songs from The Who.
On July 15, 12 classic songs by The Who will be added to the Rock Band catalog of downloadable content via “The Best of The Who: Rock Band Edition.” The one dozen songs were selected by Harmonix and MTV Games in consultation with Who guitarist Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who.
The tracks represent the meaty, beaty, big and bouncy best of The Who, including classics such as “Amazing Journey,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Sea & Sand,” plus three songs from the classic Live At Leeds album. There will also be a special Rock Band edit of “My Generation.”
Each song will be available individually for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points), or for $19.99 (1600 Microsoft Points) for the entire collection.
