Tampere, Finland – TatLabs today is pleased to introduce Connect & Pop 1.0, its version of the traditional Connect Four game with exciting new features. As in the original game, the goal of Connect & Pop is for players to connect four or more of their colored pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Connect & Pop goes beyond the classic Connect Four game by including a pop mode, a larger 10×7 playing board, five levels of high quality artificial intelligence ideal for all types of players, and the opportunity to play against friends via Game Center, WiFi/Bluetooth, and pass’n’play options.
Players begin Connect & Pop by choosing between classic game mode and pop game mode. Pop game mode is unique to Connect & Pop in that it allows players to remove a single piece from the last row of the gaming board, giving players even more ways to sabotage their opponent. A larger, 10×7 gaming board provides more fun and stronger competition than the traditional 6×7 board. Connect & Pop also allows players to choose between five increasingly challenging levels, including beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert, and master levels.
Connect & Pop features advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. Each level gameplay reacts instantly to players’ moves and provides the ideal amount of challenge and fun since players can set each level according to skill. The increasing difficulty of each level makes Connect & Pop enjoyable for families with young children as well as difficult for even the most advanced gamers. High quality graphics and beautiful music specifically composed to enhance play continuously change, making Connect & Pop entertaining as well as challenging.
