Beowulf is a classic tale, one that nearly every high schooler is begrudgingly subjected to in English class. Yet had those students experienced the story for the first time in the way Robert Zemeckis portrayed it in his Hollywood blockbuster, they might have actually remembered some of the plot. Beowulf (the movie) uses an advanced version of the special effects used in Polar Express, but with live-action characters played by, among others, Angelina Jolie. The Beowulf Director’s Cut DVD recently released, giving movie buffs a chance to see these special effects at home for themselves. And we’re giving away three of those Beowulf Collector’s Edition DVDs in this giveaway.
