Crysis 2 had the unenviable position of going head-to-head against a horde of ridiculously good FPS games, but Crytek and EA did their darnedest to make sure it shined in its own special way — a feat considering the overcrowding of the genre. As most good FPS are wont to do, Crysis 2 has also received a bit of downloadable content (DLC) on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. As we all gear up for Gears of War 3, we thought it would be nice to remember some of the other shooters that have hit our consoles this year. So, we’re giving away a free XBLA download code for the Crysis 2 Retaliation map pack.
The four new maps in the Crysis 2 Retaliation map pack include “Park Avenue,” “Transit,” “Shipyard” and “Compound.” All four maps take place in the same “New York City in 2023″ setting as the core game, but each provides a slightly different vibe than the areas that are currently available to explore.
