The Nintendo Wii has some great motion-sensitive controls, which really lend themselves well to bowling, baseball and golf, among other activities. But cracking safes? Well, yes, amazingly enough.
In Safecracker, from The Adventure Company, gamers assume the role of an expert safecracker hired by the wealthy family of a recently deceased billionaire to search for the last will and testament of their late relative. An avid safe collector and an eccentric man, the deceased relative has hidden the deed to his riches in one of the 35 safes scattered around his mansion, and it’s up to Wii owners to use their wits, puzzle-solving skills and motion-sensitive Wii Remote to crack them all and earn their paycheck.
We think the game sounds unique, and it’ll definitely provide a break from all the post-holiday Wii Sports and Wii Fit action, so we’re giving one copy away to break up the monotony.
