Electronic Arts has unveiled the first two games in its roster that will support Nintendo’s Wii MotionPlus: Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and Grand Slam Tennis, both of which will ship to retail in North America on June 16.
With the all-new Wii MotionPlus, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 will let golf fans have total control over the swing and ball, from the tee box to the green. EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis, meanwhile — which will be available on the Wii before it hits the PS3 or Xbox 360 — puts the racket in the players’ total control as they take their created player on a quest to win the four slams in Grand Slam career mode, even playing at Wimbledon’s famed Centre Court.
All told, EA Sports has at least five games in development for a 2009 ship date that have been designed specifically for the Wii. This includes EA Sports Active, which will ship in May.
