Sony’s fledgling PlayStation TV has been a mixed bag to some, but the general consensus of PlayStation TV reviews is that the “console lite” is a great and inexpensive way to get your hands on a slew of PlayStation games. Speaking of which, a new Adventure Time game is set to release for PlayStation TV on November 18.
The new Adventure Time game, Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom, will be published by Little Orbit. Little Orbit has a long history in licensed games, from Penguins of Madagascar to Disney’s Planes to How To Train Your Dragon 2. So the new Adventure Time game, licensed from Cartoon Network, is in good hands.
Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom blends top-down action/adventure gameplay with puzzle-solving elements reminiscent of early high-fantasy console games. You know…the original The Legend of Zelda and games of that ilk. The PlayStation TV version of the game will be available to download via PlayStation Network on Nov. 18.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is one of Sony’s premiere PlayStation TV titles,” said Matt Scott, CEO of Little Orbit. “The PlayStation TV is a perfect fit for our game because it enables the entire family to play together to unravel all the secrets of the Nameless Kingdom.”
Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom has gamers assume the role of the human Finn character. Alongside his shape-shifting dog Jake, Finn will vanquish new and familiar foes as they battle their way through a vast overworld and mysterious temples. Players will encounter new and familiar Adventure Time characters, discover hidden secrets, solve puzzles and overcome challenges to rescue all the missing princesses of the Nameless Kingdom.
It’s always about rescuing a princess, right?
