Hudson has announced a new Nintendo Wii fishing game, Fishing Master World Tour, that the company plans to ship early in 2009.
Fishing Master World Tour will include more than 200 different types of fish spread across the world, with 40 locations in seven different fishing regions. Among the most exotic locations are Easter Island, the Amazon River and under the Golden Gate Bridge.
In the game, players will use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to battle fish as they would in real life. Players will pull the Wii Remote left and right as the fish fights and will even be able to adjust the drag to avoid breaking the line. Fishing Master World Tour will also include four-person online multiplayer modes.
Wi-Fi Laddering will let players compete online to see who will catch the biggest fish in various worldwide locations. Players will also enjoy new local Multiplayer Battle Modes which enable them to play against their friends and family members in all new different battle modes.
Additional new features will include Boss Battles in which players can catch rare fish with exclusive boss battle controls, as well as a Trolling mode that lets players fish off the coast on the back of fishing boats.
