Sony today used the Leipzig Games Convention to respond to Microsoft’s increase of the Xbox 360 hard drive, announcing that the PS3 will have a new bundle in November that includes a 160GB hard drive.
The bundle, which will cost $499.99, will include the hardware, a copy of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a voucher for the PSN game PAIN, and a DualShock 3 wireless controller.
Speaking of PS3 controllers, Sony also unveiled a new keyboard/keypad for the PS3 today. The detachable keyboard is fully compatible with the DualShock 3 and, although it looks essentially identical to Microsoft’s keypad for the Xbox 360, attaches to a much more-awkward above-the-controller location. It should still make typing messages easier, though, especially as the PS3 includes predictive text while typing.
