Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff and Robocalypse will finally make their long-awaited Nintendo DS debuts in a couple of weeks, Tecmo announced today, with both DS-exclusive games set to ship on November 18.
Tecmo Bowl Kickoff adapts the old-school style and revitalizes it with the over-the-top football gameplay that’s focused on a fast pace and a true arcade style of football. After choosing from one of 32 teams, players can tackle a Season alone or participate in the Wi-Fi multiplayer modes. The DS stylus is used both to control your on-screen player and to design plays for your custom Tecmo Bowl playbook.
Robocalypse, meanwhile, is a real-time strategy game (RTS) that offers strategic warfare with a twist of humor. Players can compete head-to-head in wireless multiplayer matches with up to four people, or they can lead their army to victory in the comical single-player campaign, the story for which was written by SpongeBob Squarepants writer Jay Lender.
Both Nintendo DS games will retail for $29.99, but you can save $5 on Tecmo Bowl by getting it at Amazon.com using the following link (we’ve got a pre-order link to Robocalypse, too): Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff | Robocalypse.
