Walmart’s Black Friday sales and doorbusters have led to higher-than-expected lines of shoppers, according to early reports from the retailer. Best Buy’s Black Friday sales have brought about sold-out HDTVs and gadgets. Yet those are just the brick-and-mortar Black Friday sales. Walmart’s Black Friday sales and Best Buy’s Black Friday offerings are still available — in limited quantities — online. And we’ve got the inside info for you about those retailers’ still-available video game deals.
Walmart’s Web site still lists some Black Friday deals on HDTVs, including a Sanyo 50-inch Plasma 720p for $498, but most of Walmart’s big Black Friday doorbusters are long gone. The video game category, though, still shows some deals available, if you act now. For instance, the PS3 160GB bundle with two games is still available online for $349, and the 4GB Xbox 360 bundle is still around as of this writing for $249. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is also still available for $29, if you missed last year’s big shooter. You can check out all of Walmart’s online-only Black Friday sales right here. And just so you know, some of those Walmart Black Friday specials are only available online, so pay attention to the wording on the right-hand side of the page.
Now, as for Best Buy’s Black Friday sales online, most of the specials are for the Xbox 360, with the PS3 and Wii rounding it out in that order. Madden NFL 11 is available as of press time for $34.99, and a massive Nintendo Wii (black) bundle with two games and a Wii Remote Plus is available for $169.99. Fallout: New Vegas can be had on Best Buy’s Black Friday sales online for $39.99, and The Beatles: Rock Band for both PS3 or Xbox 360 is available for just $16.99.
