Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will hit retail shelves on November 5, Activision announced today, putting it nearly in head-to-head competition with Halo 3, which releases one week earlier. The two first-person shooters promise to be two of the most popular games in that genre this holiday season.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A Nintendo DS version will also deliver the Call of Duty chaos to handheld gamers.
