We all grew up with the animated Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoons, and we’re all incredibly familiar with the Alvin & the Chipmunks Christmas song. So, it’s to be expected that the live-action / Roger-Rabbit-fied movie from 2007 didn’t exactly bowl most of us over. We longed for a return to the animated classics…and that’s just what we’re getting, as Alvin and the Chipmunks: The ALVIN!!! Edition appears to hit DVD. In this two-disc compilation, Alvin is shown in his most hilarious, action-filled comedy adventures. Alvin’s antics will take him from Hawaii to army boot camp to ski slopes.
