Master Chief’s final battle in Halo 3 might not begin until the game’s launch on Sept. 25, but that’s not stopping Microsoft from pumping out marketing tie-ins beforehand. Case in point: a new Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console, which ships Sept. 16 (this Sunday).
The Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console will carry an estimated retail price of $399.99.
The console features an authentic Spartan green and gold finish (read: it looks like split pea soup) and comes with a matching Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, 20GB Hard Drive, Headset, Play and Charge Kit and exclusive Halo 3 Gamer Pics and Themes available just for owners via an Xbox Live download.
