SEGA today released new gameplay information about SEGA Bass Fishing, a new fishing game headed to the Nintendo Wii in March. You can pre-order it here (it’s only $30).
SEGA Bass Fishing for Wii will include four gameplay modes: Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip. In each mode, players’ tackle boxes will be filled with more than 20 lures, which they’ll use to go after four breeds of bass: Florida Large Mouth, Red Eye, Small Mouth and Northern Spike Large Mouth.
The game’s 15 stages will include seven brand new stages created exclusively for the Wii, four classic arcade stages and — hold your breath — four stages from the Dreamcast version of Bass Fishing.
New features have also been created to take advantage of the Wii Remote, including driving the boat with the control stick and reeling in your fish with the motion sensor. In addition, the controls will utilize both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, as players can feel the fish nibble on the line and move the Wii Nunchuk to scoop up the fish with a net.
