On my way into the office this morning I noticed a line around a balloon-filled AT&T store. For a split second I had no idea why, but I quickly snapped back into my senses and realized the iPhone 5C is now available in stores. AT&T may no longer have the exclusive on Apple’s newest iOS devices, but that surely didn’t stop customers from flocking to the store to get their hands on the iPhone 5C the day it released. Gotta love Apple acolytes.
The iPhone 5C isn’t all that different from the 5, so the majority of apps and iPhone 5C games will be and function just the same. Still, while that big line of people — and lines everywhere else around the world — won’t find many new iPhone 5C games, they will soon find some new iPhone 5C game controllers.
With iOS 7 now in the wild, complete with support for MFi game controllers, Logitech has launched a marketing campaign to let all those new iPhone 5C owners know they will no longer have to suffer from numb thumbs. And amazingly, they’re not the only one.
As TouchArcade reported, ClamCase has unveiled a new GameCase controller, “which looks sort of like someone snapped an Xbox 360 controller in half over their knee and wedged an iPad mini in-between the two halves. Now Logitech is starting to hint over on Facebook that they’re iOS controller is on the horizon….”
While we wait for those new controllers — a wait that likely won’t be long — you should at the very least look into protecting your new iDevice with an iPhone 5C case. Oh, and if you haven’t gotten one of the new devices for yourself just yet, mosey over to MobileFun to enter their contest to win an iPhone 5C for free. We do like our free stuff….
