DOOM 3 BFG Edition Release Date Unveiled
id Software and Bethesda today released some news that'll be a BFD to certain FPS fans: the release date for DOOM 3 BFG Edition. DOOM 3 BFD Edition includes DOOM 3, its expansion packs, and the original DOOM and DOOM 2 games. This entire package, called DOOM 3 BFG, is slated to release in North America on October 16 and in Europe on October 19. The DOOM series will finally appear on the PlayStation 3, Bethesda Softworks has announced, as "DOOM 3 BFG Edition" is currently in development and will ship this fall for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The game will include DOOM 3 and the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack, both of which have been completely re-mastered for this special release. There's a new RAGE gameplay trailer out today, "The Shrouded," that presents five minutes of in-game demolition and vehicle driving from id Software's upcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 first-person shooter. RAGE Comic Book Series in the Works by Dark Horse Comics and Bethesda
id Software's upcoming RAGE videogame is getting its own comic book series courtesy of Dark Horse Comics, Bethesda Softworks announced today. The first of the series' three comic books will be available June 22, with the story being written by Arvid Nelsion (creator of Rex Mundi) and the art penciled by Andrea Mutti (DMZ). The cover art is being created by Glenn Fabry, best known for his work on Hellblazer and Preacher.
